Onela's work is inspired by an interest in architecture and travel to many different cities; old, new, dilapidated, edgy and beautiful. The paintings explore man-made environments and structures and how the spaces they create affect experience and the senses, thereby influencing individual interpretation of the manufactured surroundings we exist in.
